Gave Sandy a wash, nearly, she only needed the wheels cleaned of brake dust.
Gloss black trim looking a bit scuffed.
Fi
rst had to tape off all the rubber seals around the doors and windows.
A little polish,
Sealed with Gtechniq C4 Trim Restorer.
Opened the bonnet to clean around the shuts and saw how bad the engine was.
So gave it a good clean and seal.

What sort of polish did you use on the gloss black plastic? Even in the photos the brick work in the reflection looks so much sharper in the second image.
I’m also curious what method you used to clean the engine bay.

I used Gtechniq P1 Nano Polish, it’s a water based, non diminishing, pad dependant polish. Want to polish, use a soft foam pad, want a bit more cut, use a firm foam pad. Want to compound, use a wool pad. It’s water based and so has no oils or gloss enhancers, simply wipe off and what you see is what you’ve got. Non diminishing in that there’s no beads to brake down, continue or stop when ever you want, if you want to work the polish a little longer, simply spritze with water and keep working the polish.
For the engine, I don't like using hosepipes or pressure washers in the engine bay, modern cars have too many electrics. So I use a degreaser and protectant (AutoBrite Jaffa clean, it cleans the heaviest grease and leaves gloss and protection behind), and followed with 303 Aerospace Protectant to add that. The AB Jaffa clean was sprayed on and worked in with brushes and wiped and buffed with some old but clean cloths.

Lotta tools involved there. I'm hesitant to try a hose or pressure washer on an engine bay so I usually just degrease and wipe off the plastic cover if it has one.

Only tools were a brush and three MF cloths.
